linq.uify

Linquifies something (see Getting Started)

Overloads

  • void linq.uify ()
  • Array linq.uify (array)
  • Array linq.uify (array, jQueryPresent)

void linq.uify ()

Sets up Linquid JS on Array.prototype and checks to see if jQuery is
present so that it may install there as well.

Example

linq.uify();

Array linq.uify (array)

Sets up Linquid JS on the specified array. A check is made as to the presence of jQuery to determine whether or not to add the
jQuery methods (not the jQuery extensions provided by linq.uify$) to the array.

Example

var myArray = [{Field:1}, {Field:2}, {Field:3}];

//Linquifies "myArray" in place and returns it
linq.uify(myArray);

Array linq.uify (array, jQueryPresent)

Sets up Linquid JS on the specified array, allowing for manual specification of whether or not to add the
jQuery methods (not the jQuery extensions provided by linq.uify$) to the array.

Example

var myArray = [{Field:1}, {Field:2}, {Field:3}];

//Linquifies "myArray" in place and returns it, skipping the check for
//jQuery and not adding the special jQuery helper methods
linq.uify(myArray, false);
